Never Too Old

In 1911 Alexandra David-Neel, a fifty-five-year-old French opera singer, left Paris for India, became a Lama, disguised herself as a male pilgrim and spent a winter in a cave studying Buddhist teachings, dressed only in a cotton garment. In 1923 she travelled to Burma, Japan, Korea, China and to forbidden for foreigners Tibet. She lived till the age of 101 and wrote many great books about buddhism and her travels. This is just a small reminder that it’s never too late to start doing the things that are important to you. Well, you also don’t have to wait till you are 55 to start doing them. 😉
